Instructor & Assessor Program

Train the trainer — instructional technique, competency assessment, and the records that stand up to audit.

Course Overview

Being a good pilot and being a good instructor are unrelated skills. The best pilot on a team is often the worst teacher, because they stopped noticing the things a beginner finds hard years ago.

This program covers instructional technique properly: how to structure a lesson, how to demonstrate, when to intervene and when to let a student make a recoverable mistake, and how to assess competency in a way that is consistent between candidates and defensible afterwards.

It also covers the quality system behind the instruction, because a training organisation is judged on its records at least as much as on its teaching.
